My grill is in the shop at the moment but i needed a quick and easy caveman dinner. I made this with a frying pan and the broiler in my oven in 10 minutes.
Ingredients:
This is a simple one and typically you get some left over sausage, peppers, and onions for breakfast the next morning to go along with your eggs.
Step 1:
Get the asparagus prepped. I use a lipped cookie sheet and put some olive oil on it. I rub the asparagus around in the oil until thinly coated. Season with ground pepper and salt.
Step 2:
Saute Garlic, Peppers, and Onions in large frying pan (preferably cast iron).
Step 3:
Throw the Asparagus in the broiler. Keep checking on these guys cause they will cook fairly quickly (6-8 minutes).
Step 4:
Right after you throw asparagus in broiler put sausage on another cookie sheet. Throw in oven (I’m fortunate to have a double oven so i can broil 2 things at the same time) at 500. These guys will cook quickly too.
Everything cooks pretty quickly so be ready to dance from station to station and plate quickly.
Anyone else have a fast and easy one?
